With NAB 2026 right around the corner, the Suite team is getting excited for our annual trip to Las Vegas. Meetings, speaker sessions, client dinners, and cocktail parties will be plentiful, so we wanted take a moment to call-out some important wellness tips to keep you & your team energized throughout the event. Here, let's dive deeper into a few strategies for maintaining your well-being at NAB 2026. These tips are tailored to help our community of media professionals, so you can stay focused on your next meeting… and not worry about tired feet. See you at Booth N1817!

1. Hydration, Hydration, Hydration

Drinking water is imperative to your success—don’t skimp on your next sip! Bring a reusable water bottle to the conference center everyday, and try to drink two full liters. While coffee might seem like a good idea to kick-start your day, be sure to balance our your caffeine intake with some quality H20.

2. Comfortable Kicks

While your favorite Vans might look cool with your outfit or your new dress shoes might be flashy for that important meeting, neither really have the support you need to spend an entire day on your feet at the NAB Show 2026. Consider your choice of shoes carefully before heading Las Vegas—a pair of super comfortable Hoka sneakers might do the trick.

3. Plan Breaks Between Meetings

Identify slots in your meeting schedule to take 15-20 minute breaks. With so many people buzzing around NAB 2026, it's beneficial to find a quiet spot at various moments throughout the day. People may look at you funny when you’re doing yoga in the corner, but you’ll be the one feelin’ loose, limber, and ready for a full afternoon of meetings with prospective clients.

4. Eat Healthy Food & Bring Snacks

The on-site food options at NAB aren’t exactly Michelin quality, so be sure to bring healthy snacks to fuel your day. Also, try your best to schedule breakfast, lunch, and dinner into your schedule so you don’t miss a meal—long days under fluorescent lights can take more out of you than you realize. If you’re staying in a hotel, consider buying some basic groceries to put in your fridge, so brekky is an easy grab-and-go in the morning.

5. Get Some Shut-Eye

Las Vegas is known as the “Neon City,” and with all the events surrounding the conference it’s easy to let the night get away from you. While we all know that “real business happens at the Black Jack table,” try to break up the nights you’re spending with clients after hours.  That extra quiet time & sleep will do you wonders as you step back into the conference center at NAB 2026 the next day.

6. Listen To Yourself

It can be hectic in the conference center at the NAB Show, so be sure to listen to your body & mind while you’re there. If you feel burnt out after a series of meetings and lots of talking, consider taking five minutes to decompress; it could be outside or indoors, but make sure you’re by yourself. These tiny moments of solitude can help maintain your focus late into the event. We promise, even just a few minutes will do you good…

7. Focus in on Every Meeting

Challenge yourself to be fully present in each moment. There’s a lot happening around you at the NAB Show, and it can be easy to let your eyes and mind wander. Try taking notes by hand with pen and paper during speaker sessions or client meetings, or consider putting your phone in your pocket (not on the table!) when you’re ready to sit down with someone. That gesture will go a long way.

8. Minimize Screen Time

Despite your phone and computer likely being the “source of truth” for your entire NAB schedule, try to limit your screen time as much as possible. Unless you need to check emails—or double-check a meeting time/location—leaving your phone in your pocket will help you focus on the face-to-face interactions & keep you open to meeting new people just passing by your booth. Here’s the bottom line: Get your head outta your phone and make some new connections!

9. Take a Las Vegas Loop

One super convenient (and super fun) offering at NAB Show provides the "Las Vegas Loop" Tesla ride from one end of the conference center to the other. The entire event space is ENORMOUS, so saving steps with this ride is a good idea. If you want the facts, it turns a 35-minute walk into a two-minute drive. Once you hop a ride, the Tesla taxis take you through an underground tunnel full of neon lights, and it feels like you’re in that scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory…

10. Expect the unexpected

Every year at the NAB Show is different—head into the conference with an open mind. You might have the opportunity to meet with someone who can make an immediate impact on your work, or you might have the chance to sit next to someone interesting at lunchtime. However demanding your schedule—and no matter how many years you’ve attended NAB—keep your eyes, ears, and mind open to what comes next. You never know who you might run into in Las Vegas...
