The National Association of Broadcasting (NAB) conference 2024 is one of the most well-attended events in the media & entertainment industry—so, it’s not surprising that the schedule of events is bursting with opportunities to learn from experts & mingle with executives. However, there are truly too many things to do, people to see, and panels to attend, so we’re taking the time here to lay it all out for our community of post production professionals. In this post, we’ve compiled a list of the must-see sessions & events at NAB Show 2024. Post Production World
While this specific area of NAB 2024 requires additional credentials, it’s a hotbed of information for editors, VFX artist, audio engineers, photographers, graphic designers, marketers & more. CineCentral
CineCentral, which goes from Sunday thru Wednesday, April 14th-17th, offers programming focused on video/media production and post-production, with speaker sessions from professionals about latest cinematic trends and techniques. New this year are “Open Air Labs,” live demos in the conference center that allow attendees to get hands-on experience to the latest content capture tech in drone use and large-action filming equipment. Sessions details below.
SMPTE’s Future of Cinema
One of the M&E industry’s leading communities, SMPTE connects technology & the creatives that use it on a global scale. This year at NAB, SMPTE is hosting a number of panel events on Saturday, April 13th, that should pique the interest of the most well-turned industry folks. Part of the Core Education Collection, this series of talks also requires additional credentials.
