Visual Effects 101: Wolverine VFX reveals what’s really happening in the Edit Bay

Visual effects are an aspect of movie-making either disappears into the bigger picture, or brings it to life in unexpected ways. Depending on the type of work, VFX teams can enhance reality or fabricate it altogether, and in today’s video-driven media landscape, VFX artists have an influence on nearly every project the general public sees.
Looking at any array of newly released video, television, or movie content, the omnipresence of VFX becomes quickly apparent. What would the "Transformers” movies look like without these special touches? Would the visual effect of HBO’s “Euphoria” diminish without such elaborate coloration? Would the Marvel movies exist at all? It’s only through the technical and creative capability of VFX that much of today’s media reaches it’s point of distribution.
If you’ve ever wondered exactly what those VFX teams are doing in the edit bay, check out the short video featured above, produced by Suite cloud storage customer, Wolverine VFX. This small shop in Los Angeles has built its business creating VFX that becomes invisible to the viewer, the kind of touch-ups that disappear and enhance the overall story simultaneously.
